If you've watched the news, you've seen the destruction.

Images and footage continue to surface of the wreckage that resulted from the tornadoes that wreaked havoc throughout the deep South.

Alabama residents have sustained horrific damage, and death tolls are in the hundreds with many more displaced or injured.

Their homes devastated, people are left with nothing; hundreds of families lack electricity, water, or gas.

In 2005, Adventures in Missions responded to Hurricane Katrina within 24 hours. In 2010, we arrived in Haiti the same day that the earthquake hit. In 2011, five days after the tornadoes hit, we have set up a base, connected with partnering ministries and are waiting for your help.

Would you please pray about partnering with us? There are two significant ways to do that:

1. You can give.
2. You can go.

Huddle House where 25 were killed and others still missing.

After six days of braving the elements, excavating lifeless victims, and clearing brush from around roads and homes, relief workers are in desperate need of supplies, manpower, and energy. Everyday, these brave souls help and serve others. They distribute food and supplies, help clear homes, move toppled trees, and help people find whatever scattered pieces of their lives remain.

This is where Adventures in Missions comes in.

We have local contacts willing to host teams and are working with other organizations ready to send workers.

Partnering with True Adventure Sports, AIM is launching mission teams into this hardest-hit areas immediately.

Ministry will be relational, coupled with intense manual labor. Given the impact of this tragedy, we are approaching this situation with a long-term mindset. This will not be a hit-and-run ministry; real lives will be touched and changed by this effort.

As we move forward with relief plans, we are in a state of constant prayer. We would be honored if you would join us. We believe that God is able and willing to breathe life back into this place of death through the Body of Christ.
