How has your life changed because of missions?

I have witnessed God move miraculously in the lives of trip participants and national workers/locals in the world of missions in ways that I never had before stepping onto the mission field. When we step outside of our comfort zones and our minimal understanding of the world, and we are willing to release control to God’s direction, we will not only be able to witness mountains move in faith, but we will be equipped to be a part of that movement. Living life missionally opens our eyes to see the true heart of the Father, to witness the hand and power of His provision and providence, and reminds us that He has given us all that we need in His word and through His Spirit to go and make disciples of all nations.

FAVORITE STORY

On one of my very first missions trips to Malawi, Africa, I witnessed dozens of children and adults who lived in a primarily Muslim village choose to follow Jesus after hearing the Gospel spoken for the very first time. It was such a pivotal moment that stirred my faith into action to pursue God’s heart for every nation, tribe and tongue coming to the knowledge and salvation of Jesus.
