Meet Your Mission Leader
Every Adventures team gets a Mission Leader. These are adults who have completed on-field training and certification, bring real missions experience, and have a heart for sharing God's love. They act as spiritual shepherds before, during, and after your trip, coordinate the daily ministry, and are the link between your group and our local partner. About a month before you leave, your leader reaches out. On the ground, that person is with your team from the airport pickup to the final debrief.
What a Mission Leader does.
Your leader meets you at a central spot wearing an Adventures shirt, settles your group into housing, and runs the schedule the partner has shaped around your team. During the day the leader is in the ministry with you. In the evening the leader gathers everyone for debrief, worship, and listening prayer. Leaders are trained in risk management and backed by our field and home office staff, and on youth trips they enforce the rule that students are always with an adult.
