How has your life changed because of missions?
Since stepping into short-term missions, God has stretched me beyond my comfort zone, deepened my faith, and given me a renewed sense of purpose and calling. What began as a willingness to serve others has become a beautiful journey of my own healing and transformation, connecting me with like-minded people from all walks of life who share a heart for God and others, while learning to trust Him more fully, embrace new adventures, and see how He can use my story to bring hope to others.
FAVORITE STORY
One of my favorite mission trip stories is how God uses the skills and experiences we bring, even when we don’t think we have anything to offer. On one trip, a participant who had worked at McDonald’s discovered that the skills he learned cleaning a grill were exactly what was needed to care for the grill in our kitchen trailer that week! I love how God reminds us that no experience is wasted. He has been preparing us in ways we may not even recognize, and all we need is a willing heart to let Him use us.
