What are some of your favorite hobbies?
I love cooking, entertaining, traveling, Pilates and trying new things!
Where have you traveled for short-term missions?
I have been to Fairbanks Alaska and Guatemala
How has your life changed because of missions?
Missions have changed the way I see myself, the way I see others, and the way I see God. Every time I’ve said “YES” the Lord has changed me just as much as He’s allowed me to serve others. I also just love the adventure of going somewhere new, meeting new people, and getting to see God at work in places and ways I never would have experienced otherwise.
FAVORITE STORY
One of my favorite moments during a prayer walk in Fairbanks was meeting a shop owner who got emotional when we offered to pray for her. That morning, she had asked God for a sign that He was with her, and it felt like our encounter was part of His answer. One of the young women on our team had never prayed out loud before, but she volunteered to pray for her. It was so beautiful watching her step out in faith and realize that God could use her to be part of someone else’s answered prayer. It is so exciting how God uses everyone exactly where they are. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you have a place in His Kingdom’s story.
