It was so impactful to see my youth group share how God was growing them, and to see them worshiping together.

Belize is a country known for its diverse and stunning geography, featuring everything from lush rainforests and pristine beaches to ancient Mayan ruins. Located in Central America, Belize is bordered by Mexico, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea.
Efforts to address poverty and strongholds in Belize involves a combination of government initiatives, community programs, outreach ministries and international support. Improving access to opportunities remains crucial in reducing poverty, increasing faith and enhancing the quality of life for all Belizeans.
40% of Belizean families have a single parent. This gives the church the opportunity to partner with single moms by loving on their kids. We do that through feeding, after school programs, health care, and discipleship.
Lodging types can range in quality and price. Two options include:
Dorm, bunk style accommodations. Each dorm has twenty beds, with showers and toilets.
Hotel or bed and breakfast accommodations. This option would provide more privacy and comfort, and come at an additional cost. A typical hotel room could cost about $100 – $150 and accommodate up to 4 or 5 people each. Pricing depends on availability and time of the year.
Fly into Belize City, where your assigned Mission Leader will meet you at the airport and take you to your destination. Drive time from the airport will range based on the location of your ministry site. All in-country, local transportation is included in the trip cost.
Hot breakfasts are served each morning. Lunch will be packed sandwiches, fruit and a side to take to the ministry site. Hot Belizean dinners will typically be served after ministry at the lodging site each day.
If staying in a hotel or bed and breakfast, meals will also be arranged for you, but will come at a slightly higher cost.
The safety of our participants is a top priority for us. We have both an internal Risk Management team and external Risk Management consultants. We use a multi-pronged approach to risk management – including monitoring information from reporting agencies and relying on the knowledge of our ministry partners. In addition to our own protocols (e.g., students must be with an adult at all times), our ministry hosts and partners will provide trip specific safety guidelines for the particular trip location. Our Mission Leaders are trained in risk management and have access to both on-field and home-office support.

They will stay with you and your team, as well as engage daily with you throughout ministry and daily life activities. This leader will have strong missions experience, leadership experience and a demonstrated competence in the area of discipleship of youth and young adults. In most cases, your Mission Leader will help with facilitating ministry, meals and daily debrief and devotional time.
