Started by Seth Barnes in his garage in Florida back in 1989, Adventures In Missions has seen the development and growth of over 20 different missions programs and opportunities. Over the past 20 years, we have been blessed to send out over 80,000 people into the field to fulfill the Great Commission on six continents. Today, the organization is working tirelessly to help pave the way for change in the world through innovative approaches to missions.

Well, I’m writing to you from Matamoros, Mexico. My first couple weeks have been jam packed. We started off with three days of solitude to prepare our hearts for what God has planned for us. During that time, I really felt the Lord putting “freedom” on my mind. For the next couple days we worked at an orphanage and a construction site. Then we started first aid and Spanish classes and now we have started learning organic gardening. Read more…

This base I am staying at is located in Ejido Buenos Aires, a small community close to Matamoros. We went into Matamoros Tuesday and Thursday to help out cleaning up the school AIM is starting there. The institute’s building was originally on this property but they are moving the school to the property they own in Matamoros. Santo Domingo Race Day Video

So part of the World Race is to do “Race Days” where we either have to get to our next destination on our own or explore a city. We have had two of these so far, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and Bangkok, Thailand.
