How has your life changed because of missions?
I grew up with grandparents that were missionaries to New Guinea and have been surrounded with missions my whole life. Missions has profoundly impacted the way I see the world. Engaging in missions has given me more compassion for people and given me a broader understanding how many people need the love of God.
FAVORITE STORY
There have been so many times when serving in both local and global missions that I have seen God show up in both small and powerful ways. I don’t always know when or how He will make Himself known, but every time I am awestruck in His presence. I am having a hard time thinking of a specific example, but the daily story that God is writing keeps me pursing Him and being mindful of what He is doing in the world
