STRENGTHENING FAMILIES & TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES FOR THE KINGDOM

Our Vision and Mission

Our vision is to see Cambodia transformed through discipleship by implementing a holistic approach to poverty and strengthening families and communities through Biblical discipleship and teaching.

Our Strategy

We believe transformation begins with discipleship. As lives are changed, people will seek to bring that change to others.

Empowering Communities:

  • Foster financial independence, not dependence.
  • Start a movement of people helping each other and their communities.

    Child Development & Education:

    • Ensure children receive proper nutrition.
    • Equip parents with education on nutritious food for their families.
    • Provide children with access to quality education and leadership training.

      Health & Community Welfare:

      • Establish clean water, sanitation, and hygiene programs.
      • Provide human trafficking education and prevention.
      • Support domestic abuse and grief counseling.

        Spiritual Growth & Discipleship:

        • Train local leaders to share the Gospel.
        • Foster a vibrant Christian community that is self-sufficient and faith-driven.
        • Introduce each person to Jesus and the opportunity for salvation.

Through discipleship and community empowerment, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and see Cambodia transformed.

          What’s the base like?

Our base in Cambodia is a haven of peace and purpose. Nestled in a vibrant community, the base offers comfortable living accommodations with shared dormitory-style rooms and bathrooms equipped with hot water.

There’s plenty of room for activities at the base, with outdoor areas that are perfect for reflection, group gatherings, or just enjoying the beautiful Cambodian scenery. Whether you want to take a bike for a ride or simply relax with a cup of tea, our base offers the perfect space to recharge.

          Safety First!

We take your safety seriously while you’re on mission in Cambodia. Before you begin your ministry work, our base leaders will guide you through all safety protocols and ensure you feel prepared. Our staff is fully trained to assess and monitor risk factors throughout your time with us, so you can trust that we are always vigilant.

What kind of ministry will we do?

At the heart of our mission in Cambodia is discipleship and community transformation. You’ll be working alongside local leaders to share the Gospel, help educate families about nutrition, and support children’s education initiatives. Whether it’s delivering clean water solutions, participating in anti-human trafficking awareness programs, or planting seeds for sustainable agriculture, there are countless opportunities to make a tangible impact.

One of the key focuses of our ministry is training local leaders and equipping them to continue the work long after you leave. This ensures that the ministry you participate in has lasting, life-changing effects on the people of Cambodia.

          Testimonies From Our Base

“We celebrated three new believers in baptism this week. What a joy it is to see people commit their lives to Jesus!”

“We have been distributing radios to our new believers. These rechargeable radios come with a USB port, allowing Shannon to download 40 Bible lessons for them to listen to. The adults can listen to these lessons repeatedly throughout the week, which significantly boosts their faith as they hear the word of God daily instead of just once a week. Additionally, these radios enable them to study God’s Word, even if they are illiterate.”

“Last week was Nutrition Week, and we prepared a large pot of rice porridge each day in a different village to provide nutritious meals for our students and their families. We supply the meat and vegetables, while the children contribute items like firewood, a cup or two of rice, or greens. We always had enough for them to eat to their hearts’ content. God is truly good!  We fed more than 80 people each day!”

          Will we have a guide?

Yes! Our dedicated staff at the Cambodia base will guide you every step of the way. They will coordinate transportation, ministry opportunities, and meals, ensuring that your experience is impactful and worry-free.

          What’s the weather like?

Cambodia is warm and humid, with rainy seasons typically occurring from May to October. You can expect sunny days with occasional showers during this time, so pack accordingly. Lightweight clothing and a rain jacket are essentials!

          How’s the food?

Cambodian cuisine is as flavorful as it is nourishing. Expect delicious meals featuring rice, fresh vegetables, tropical fruits, and various protein options, including chicken and fish. If you have any dietary restrictions, don’t worry – our kitchen team is happy to accommodate your needs.

          Where will we stay?

You’ll stay in shared rooms with bunk beds, and each room has access to modern bathroom facilities with hot showers. It’s simple but comfortable, ensuring you have everything you need to rest well and recharge for ministry.
