Since 1989, Adventures in Missions has been mobilizing the Church to bring the hope of Jesus to the world. In 2024, your generosity and prayers didn’t just fund trips – they opened doors to transformation, one life, one home, one community at a time. This year, we watched statistics turn into stories. Here’s how your support helped fuel real, lasting change.
A Message from Our Founder
“Looking back, 2024 brought so many opportunities for us to make a difference around the world. From disaster recovery in North Carolina to renewed discipleship efforts with Gen Z through the World Race, God is moving. And your support is what makes it all possible. Thank you for standing with us!”
—Seth Barnes, Founder
A Year of Impact in Motion
When you look at the big picture, 2024 was a year of momentum:
But every number carries a story. Like the story of Hailey, who led her first trip to Costa Rica and came back with a renewed calling to lead and love. Or Caleb, who reconnected with a homeless friend he met a year ago – and realized God had a mission specifically for him.
Beauty for Ashes: Healing Across Continents
Women gathered in living rooms, churches, and remote villages, 484 times this year, to encounter the truth of who they are in Christ. Through Beauty for Ashes:
These numbers reflect stories like the woman who came carrying shame and left dancing in freedom. This ministry isn’t just about retreats – it’s about rewriting legacies.
The World Race: Discipling the Next Generation
From the cobbled streets of Italy to the slums of Eswatini, Gen Z showed up. Through Gap Year, Semesters, and Expedition programs:
Many of these young adults returned home not just changed – but leading. Some are now discipling the next wave of Racers or working in full-time ministry.
Global Bases: Deep Roots, Widening Reach
South Asia:
In home Bible studies and new church shelters, the Gospel spread like wildfire. In one year:
Eswatini:
Children once orphaned now lead their own families. Twenty years of CarePoint ministry is bearing fruit:
Guatemala:
Latinos were discipled and sent out as missionaries:
Cambodia:
Literacy and faith intertwined as over 400 students learned to read and study Scripture. One village grew from a handful of believers to nearly 30. Ten men professed Christ for the first time. This is what spiritual hunger looks like.
Disaster Relief: Hope After the Storm
When Hurricane Helene swept through North Carolina, we stepped in. Alongside local partners, volunteers mucked homes, prayed over families, and helped rebuild what was lost. One participant said:
“It’s deep love and extreme heartbreak. You get to be the hands and feet of Jesus. North Carolina just taught this team so much… we will be back.”
Your support helped us finish restoring over 100 homes in Fort Myers and launch an active long-term response in Swannanoa Valley.
Financial Overview
Here’s how your giving made all this possible:
We stretch every dollar to do the most good. Because ministry isn’t just our mission—it’s our stewardship.
The Impact You Made
Hailey, Caleb, Kristin, and thousands more stepped into mission this year. Women were healed. Students were discipled. Communities were transformed. And it happened because people like you gave, prayed, and said yes.
