:: Word from our Director – Seth Barnes ::

Join this Haitian church in their struggle

I’m headed back to Haiti with a group of eight leaders on May 26. Since
the earthquake hit, we’ve found that the best way to help is by working
in partnership with local churches in Haiti. The time
for emergency aid is over; now it’s time to help Haitians help
themselves. And the only credible delivery mechanism for this kind of
help is the local Haitian church.

:: Upcoming Trips ::

Real Life
In the Real Life program, missions-minded college-aged individuals (ages 18 – 21) spend part of their summer or semester traveling to exotic locations all over the world. After training camp, participants are sent out into the world to assist local churches, ministries, and missionaries as they share their faith in adventurous and exciting ways. We have openings in our 3-month trips leaving in the fall to Brazil, Hong Kong, India, Africa and Thailand. Check out trips here!

World Race
The World Race is a Christian mission trip that travels to 11 countries in 11 months. Participants live out of a backpack, survive on a limited budget, and find themselves in situations where faith is the only reality to choose from. In partnering with existing missionaries and ministries, World Racers develop relationships with the “least of these”, and through acts of service see communities and nations transformed all over the world.

Adult and Family Trips

Missions trips aren’t just for youth any more. These trips for adults and families (5 to 14 days) are the perfect opportunity for you and your family to be challenged through meaningful service. Adult and family trips include regular ministry times, along with moments of worship, debriefing, and fellowship.

:: Stories from the Field ::

Story from Mission Field #1
Massiel

Meet Massiel. Massiel is a woman that we have become friends with here in Granada. Her ex-husband is in jail and he used to abuse Massiel and her four girls. Massiel is now living in this house made out of scraps of wood and metal, in a small barrio across from El Puente. Despite her circumstances, she loves God and has joy each day – with her kids and with others.

Life in Vietnam
Katie McFaddin from South Carolina talks about life in Vietnam while working at a coffee shop. She says, “Vietnam was definitely one of my favorite months on the race. Our primary ministry contacts during the month were the incredible staff and volunteers at a coffee house called Sozo.”
