Tomorrow at 11:40 p.m. I start my journey back to the United States. It seems so surreal that tonight is my last night in Cambodia, that tonight was our final team dinner, and that tomorrow morning will be my last morning waking up next to my teammate Amy in our fort at the YWAM Base. It seems like yesterday I was having a mental breakdown trying to pack for this trip and now I am all packed up to go home to Prescott, AZ.
I am excited to go home to a lot of love, snow, and Christmastime! But the next few days are going to be very bittersweet. The coming days will involve some of the hardest goodbyes I will ever have to say. I am going to be so sad to say good-bye to my wonderful teammates and our translator Seang. I have been so blessed with such an amazing team and it is going to be tremendously sad to not live life with them. But I also know God has extraordinary plans for each of us and I am excited to see where he takes us all!
God has done so many things on this trip and I have learned and grown so much it blows my mind.. But if I were to share them all of that in this blog we would be here for days. I just want to say that I am so grateful that God brought me to Cambodia and gave me a chance to love His people here. It has been a privilege bringing Kingdom to Cambodia. I want to praise to God for all of the wonderful mind-blowing things that he has allowed me to experience and be part of here in Cambodia. He is TRULY good in ALL circumstances. I am so thankful that he provided a way for me to be here. I feel so fortunate that God chose me to come here in this season of my life.
I also want to thank all of my supporters. Thank you for all you sacrificed in order for me to be able to come on this trip and thank you for all of your prayers! I would not have been here without you and I will forever be grateful for your donations and especially for your prayers!
I can not wait to get back and tell you guys of all of my adventures in Cambodia and all of the wonderful things that God has done here. Most of all I am excited to see what God’s plan for me in the future is. It is so exciting to say that my life has just begun and ministry in my life has just begun. All I can say is that I am ready to take on the world, that is of course with God taking the lead! Here I come Arizona!
Cambodia will always have a special place in my heart and I hope to return eventually!
Much Love from Cambodia…One Last Time.
