Broken to the point of Redemption

I think it’s time to call out the truth. If we’re honest there are people in this world that aren’t easy to love. That are termed ‘Unreachable’. There are people out there that we have decided don’t deserve Gods mercy, that don’t need our time or ministry. Well newsflash…YOU don’t deserve Gods mercy. I don’t deserve it. My neighbor’s sister does not deserve and that is why Gods mercy is so beautiful. It’s time we call out the hidden places in our hearts that have determined who is worthy or more deserving. We say that Man is mean so were not going to try, but God says I have joy to speak into him. We say that teenager is rebellious and will never listen, but God says I can quiet my children and direct them onto the right path. We say that woman has everything she needs, but God says she’s missing ME. We say that mentally handicapped girl wouldn’t even understand, but God says I HAVE CHOSEN her! We say these people are broken beyond repair but God says THEY ARE BROKEN TO THE POINT OF REDEMPTION. God says these are the people he wants to meet with. The lonely. The abused. The misunderstood. The misguided. God has called these people his children. His warriors. His missionaries. His anointed ones.
God has called me to hug the woman who lives at the dump. God has called me to speak truth into the guy who believes in Jesus but doesn’t want a relationship. God has called me to show the children at the special needs school patience because they can understand God. God has called me to feed the elderly woman at the nursing home who can’t feed herself. God has called me to be broken so I can be healed by his redemption. In Acts 9 we read the story of Saul being called to ministry. God commands Annanias to go to Saul and tell him all the things God has anointed him to do. Did Annanias hop on a camel and hit the road? Not quite.  In Verse 13 Annanias says ‘Lord I have heard about all the evil this man has done to Christians and you want me to go tell him he is supposed to become one!’ Verse 15 Gods response is this: “Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel…”.  It has been spoken and now it’s time for us to move                                                                                                                   *the pictures below are 2 little girls who live and work with their family at the local dump*
