Digging Holes

Scoop, lift, throw.  Scoop, lift, throw.  Scoop, lift, throw.  This has been my motion for the last week.  My team and I have been a part of finishing building a water well that has been an ongoing process for 3 years.  Once complete, the well will be a source of water for 4 families in the community.  Being a part of a project that will soon impact so many people has been a blessing.  My main job has been shoveling dirt into the surrounding walls of the well.  First off, I have never shoveled so much in my whole life and second, by shoveling every day God has revealed so much to me!

I have learned that in order to see the finished product I must diligently work, even when I get tired or everyone else stops to take a break.  As I see it, shoveling dirt is much like my walk with God.  I must diligently seek Him and run hard after Him even when others around me are running at a slower pace.  I must daily sift through rocks to be certain that only the good soil is what is being shoveled into my heart, because it is the good soil that will then produce fruit.  “And the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”  Galatians 5:22-23

Now that the construction projects are complete, the team and I are anxious to begin outreach with local orphanages, prisons, and hospitals.  I am more than ready to bring manifestation to those who are searching and deliverance to those who need healing.  Please pray that I may continue to be transformed into a woman of God that fears the Lord, unafraid to preach the good news to all that have an ear to hear.
