Through your gifts and prayers for Adventures in Missions and the World Race, you’ve helped God do some amazing things in the last couple of years.
The incredible love of Jesus has changed the lives of thousands of people, including Zi Ping, the little boy we told you about last month. Zi’s story could not have happened without a worldwide community — missionaries, prayer partners, and donors all working together toward a common goal.
And even though this year is almost over, God isn’t done working.
He is leading us to invest deeper in the worldwide community. To equip people to take that next step in their faith, whether it’s a step across the street or a step around the world.
God is leading us to develop disciples who make more disciples, and we need your help.
This has been on our hearts for a long time. In fact, we waited for God to say it’s time to build Discipleship Training Centers (DTCs). And seven years ago, he finally led us to launch our first DTC, a long-term mission base where we focus on training Christian nationals to be the hands and feet of Jesus to their own nations. Disciples making disciples who share the gospel and teach their own nation about Jesus.
Miguel and Kristen Shaul have been developing disciples like Ronnie Herrera in the Dominican Republic DTC. Miguel discipled Ronnie. Then Ronnie began to disciple a group of young Dominican believers, who then set out to disciple believers in villages throughout the DR.
Since the concept was proven, we’ve built four more DTCs around the world. Now, God has given us the green light to strengthen the body of Christ by launching five more DTCs in strategic locations for his kingdom.
Our deep connections around the globe allow you to make an exponential impact when you help build a Discipleship Training Center.
Right now, we have five active bases; within a year, we’ll add up to five more. By God’s grace, we’re designing the DTCs to be self-sustaining. But each base costs over $50,000 to start.
We need faithful partners, willing to invest in this project with us:
God is building his kingdom. And you, the Adventures/World Race family, are building it with him.
Will you join us for #GivingTuesday, and give generously to build disciples of Jesus?
