Sihlelelo wakes up early each morning in Eswatini.
Before the sun has fully risen, she’s already stepping into responsibilities most children her age shouldn’t have to carry. She helps care for her younger sister. She prepares what she can with what little they have. And then, like thousands of other children, she begins the walk to a place that has become a lifeline in her world.
The CarePoint.
When she arrives, she’s greeted with something simple, but powerful. A warm meal. A familiar face. A place where she can breathe, laugh, learn, and be reminded that she is not alone.

What she doesn’t see are the people who made that moment possible. She doesn’t see the donor who chose to give instead of scrolling past. She doesn’t hear the quiet prayers spoken over her by someone halfway across the world. She doesn’t know the names of the people who said yes from their own homes.
But she is living in the impact of their obedience.
This is the quiet, often unseen side of supporting missions from home. The part that doesn’t always make it into photos or highlight reels, but is just as essential as the ones who go.
Because for every person who steps onto a plane, there are others who make it possible for them to get there. For every team serving on the ground, there is a foundation of generosity holding them up. For every CarePoint, every church partnership, every moment of discipleship, there are people choosing to invest in something bigger than themselves.
It’s easy to believe that mission only happens “out there.” In far-off places, in unfamiliar cultures, in moments that feel extraordinary. But the truth is, mission is happening in living rooms and coffee shops and quiet prayer times, wherever someone decides to be part of what God is doing.
Mission giving may feel small in the moment. A number entered. A button clicked. But on the other side of that decision, something shifts. A meal is served. A child is discipled. A team is sent. A community is strengthened.
And over time, those small yeses become something much bigger. They become presence. They become the kind of long-term impact that changes lives.

Long before a team arrives, before a conversation begins, before a single act of service takes place, God is already moving. And when you pray, you step into that movement. You’re asking for protection, for open doors, for softened hearts. You’re covering people you may never meet, in places you may never go, and somehow your prayers still reach them.
That’s the beauty of the Kingdom. It was never meant to be built alone. Some are called to go. Others are called to send. Most of us, at different times, are invited to do both.
And when we all say yes, whether from across the world or across the street, the mission moves forward.
Sihlelelo may never know your name. But because of people like you, she will keep walking through those CarePoint gates. She will keep being fed. She will keep being reminded that she is seen, known, and deeply loved.
And that’s the kind of impact that echoes far beyond what we can see.

You don’t have to get on a plane to be part of what God is doing around the world.
Your generosity and prayers for missionaries are changing lives – one child, one team, one community at a time.
Give today and help carry the mission forward.
Because saying yes from home still changes everything.
