Wrecked for the ordinary

There is an implicit illusion that success is found through perfection, that having concerns about life or faith means you’re a failure. Even at Church, the facade of everyone having it together continues. We’ve bought into the notion that if you walk with Christ, your life will be flawless. That if you struggle or have doubts after accepting Christ, you are a bad Christian.

As a result, secrets proliferate. We discuss sins in hushed tones behind the sacristy door. We have a yearning need for honesty and freedom, but it is silenced before it can be spoken. Wrecked is a place where masks can be removed, we relate real-life experiences of brokenness here.
