5 Ways Your Church Can Partner with Adventures in Missions

Explore practical ways your church can engage in global missions and discipleship today.

At Adventures in Missions, we believe the local church is one of the most powerful forces for transformation in the world. Since 1989, we’ve partnered with churches across the U.S. and around the globe to serve communities, disciple believers, and activate the Body of Christ into Kingdom mission.

Whether your congregation is mission-minded, newly curious about outreach, or eager to mobilize the next generation, there’s a place for you in this story.

Here are five powerful ways your church can partner with Adventures in Missions:

  1. Take Your Church on a Mission Trip
Short-term mission trips are one of the most effective tools for discipleship and outreach. Adventures offers customizable trips for church groups, youth ministries, families, and small teams. You’ll serve alongside long-term partners, learn from local leaders, and walk away with deeper unity and vision as a church.

This summer and fall, we have spots open for U.S. and international trips – plus a special May offer: North Carolina Disaster Relief trips in August are $100 off per person if you register and pay your deposit by May 31st.

“Not a single one of us on the trip would tell you it was easy or comfortable, but every one of us would say it was worth it. It grew our students’ faith, and bonded our group like never before.” — Youth Pastor, Group Leader

  1. Sponsor a Child. Support a Family.
Sometimes, changing the world starts with one child. Through Adventures’ child sponsorship program, $45/month provides a child with nutritious meals, clean water, and biblical discipleship. But it doesn’t stop there – their whole family is invited into programs that build stronger homes and thriving communities.

Your church can rally together to sponsor children as a congregation or even assign sponsorships to small groups or youth teams.

  1. Empower Women with Beauty for Ashes
Beauty for Ashes equips and sends women to lead ministry around the world, especially to other women who’ve experienced trauma, abuse, or deep grief. Your church can host a retreat, send a women’s team, or get trained to lead locally or internationally.

This is a powerful way to engage your women’s ministry with a global mission focus and provide healing spaces for women in your own community, too.

  1. Join Us in Prayer and Celebration
Ministry flows from intimacy with God. That’s why we invite churches to:

Whether you’re praying for specific regions, upcoming trips, or long-term missionaries, your church’s prayers make a difference.

  1. Support the Mission Financially or Send a Staff Member
Your church can have long-term impact by supporting Adventures missionaries or projects through financial partnership. You can also encourage and send someone from your congregation to join our staff – whether in long-term international ministry, training, logistics, or domestic leadership.

We’re always looking for Kingdom-hearted individuals ready to invest their lives in what God is doing around the world.

Partner through giving or staff opportunities!
