Story from Mission Field #2It was just one year ago

It was just one year ago…exactly…to this very day…the epic adventure of my life (to that point), which had taken me to 11 countries in 11 months with 27 crazies had ended.  With one last night of worship and celebration, we closed up what had become life and family for the last year and we started the trek back to what was once familiar soil to begin an even greater challenge of incorporating all we had learned outside the camp back inside the place we were being called to. Story from Mission Field #4Uganda 1 built a house

We have been learning a lot of practical things that will help us when we are on the field such as first aid, CPR, organic gardening and last week we learnt how to manually mix cement and frame a house; and then we did it! Each team was given 1 bag of cement, 30 2x4s and a sheet of ply wood and we had to build a structually sound house frame that was 4′ x 8′ x 7’6″.  Read more…
