“It was safe”

On Friday we arrived at the Atlanta airport to meet up with the real life teams. When i got there there were already a few people from my team there. I intoduced myself and waited until the rest of the 20 others arrived. Upon arrival of the entire team we departed the airport.

After riding the marta from the airport to downtown Atlanta we then treked about half a mile with all  of our luggage to the Safe House. It was safe. We put are things down and ate a pb&j with some chips for dinner. After dinner we went out on the streets to talk to random people. Most of the people we came around were homeless.

Following conversations with above mentioned homeless we returned to the safety of the safe house. We woke up early the next morning and traveled to the aim headquarters located a hour away by bus ride in Gainesville, Ga. Since arraiving in Gainesville we've trained for the ministry stuff and other things we'll be doing in Guatemala.

Departure is tomorrow at around 10 am.
