Share the Gospel in Cuba after 50 Years of Closed Doors

For 21 years, we have waited for Cuba to open, and for the last four years, we have been carefully laying the groundwork to take you and your group to Cuba. The door may have been closed for a long time, but today it is open.

The time to share the hope of Jesus in Cuba is NOW.

Cuba has been in the news a lot lately. After a recent opening in its relationship with the US, the incoming administration is suggesting new agreements will have to be re-negotiated. With the uncertainty this creates, what we know is that in the short term (we are guessing through summer of 2017), we have a window of opportunity.

It’s a window we want to alert you to.

For the last four years, Adventures has been carefully laying the groundwork to take you and your group to Cuba. Logistically we’ve figured out the best way to make visas, transportation, food, and lodging the best it can be for our groups. At a church strategy level, we’ve built relationships with trustworthy ministry partners within local villages, to give you an authentic experience where you can share God’s love with the Cuban people.

Adventures has a rich history of breaking new ground and responding to Kingdom opportunity. When Hurricane Katrina hit, we mobilized 4,000 people to help New Orleans in the first year. When Haiti experienced an earthquake, we took hundreds of volunteers to help it rebuild.

We work with a network of churches throughout Cuba ready for you and your group. The window of ministry opportunity may have been closed for a long time, but today it is open.

The time to share the hope of Jesus is now.

In 1995, I felt God speak to me and say “Go to Cuba.” I didn’t know why, but soon I was on a plane.

What I saw there shook me up. I saw a country caught in a time warp. Survival was an everyday scramble. It’s beaches were white, but the tourists no longer filled them. Its buildings were in serious need of paint.

Still, the Cuban people were wonderful. As I talked to local followers of Christ, I saw an amazing faith and deep commitment to prayer. I came away after a week there inspired. I loved the Cuban people and I had the sense that one day, when their country was open to Americans again, we would have a chance to learn from their faith.

For 21 years I’ve waited for that opening to come. And I’m excited to tell you that the time is NOW. Because of the agreement recently signed between our two countries, you can now fly directly from cities like Atlanta and Miami to Havana and you can do so inexpensively.

I want to invite you to discover what I discovered all those years ago—a country that, while hidden from view, has so much to give.

After 57 years, the doors to Cuba are finally open. Join us next year in Cuba and be among the first to openly share the Gospel in this beautiful country.
