Summer Mission Trips Available for Youth Groups: Still searching for that perfect trip?

With the summer season quickly approaching and schedules filling up with vacations, camps, and jobs, Adventures In Missions is offering your youth group a chance to to step out of routine and into an opportunity to see your faith grow like never before.

Our short-term missions program is designed to take groups of students to the heart of service and sacrifice in the mission field. With trips running as short as five days to as long as a month, an AIM short-term mission trip could mark the beginning of a radical new way of living for your youth group.

Mission Trip Updates From the Field:

In a small village outside of El Estor, we ran into a 11 year old boy named Benjamin while setting up the clinic in a local church. While playing with the kids outside, he caught our eye. He was standing behind the rest of the kids, sweat beads on his upper lip and breathing heavy.

I placed my hand on his back. It was wet; he felt feverish and was coughing, struggling to breathe. I asked if he was having a hard time breathing. He then told me at night he hardly sleeps; it keeps him up. We walked him over to the nurse and translator. It ends up that he has asthma. We taught him how to use an inhaler and prayed for healing. The entire time he smiled.

God has been working in ways that could never have been predicted this summer at AIM’s New Orleans mission. Judging by what I’ve seen in my experiences at the VBS sites, I would venture to say that the Lord is working his miracles and his great revival in the youth of New Orleans. It is liberating, awesome, and a privilege to witness.
