Mission Trips with Purpose

Short-term mission trips for youth groups, adults, families, and teams, built with partners who were there before you came and will be there after you leave.

Since 1989 we have mobilized the Church to join Jesus in His work at home and abroad. We handle the housing, meals, ministry schedule, and partner relationships; you lead your people. More than thirty destinations in the United States, Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe.

Can't find what you're looking for?

We build trips around your group, not the other way around.

The process

How it works.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your group

Fill out the short trip request form or call 800-881-2461. Tell us how many are coming, the ages, the dates you have in mind, and the kind of ministry your students would do well in.

  2. 02

Pick a place and a week

A Mission Coordinator walks you through the destinations that fit, with current dates and prices. Most sites run 5-day and 7-day trips through the spring and summer.

  3. 03

    Reserve with a $500 deposit

One $500 deposit per group holds your week and counts toward the total. From then on your Mission Coordinator is your main contact until you leave.

  4. 04

    Prepare and raise support

You get fundraising and communication tools for your participants, a packing list, and a dress code. The balance is due in two payments: half three months out and the rest two months out, along with your final headcount.

  5. 05

Meet your Mission Leader and go

About a month before departure your Mission Leader reaches out. On the ground, that leader stays with your team all week, coordinates ministry with our local partner, and leads the evening debrief and worship.

Why us

Why Adventures.

Ministry shaped around your group.

A family group and a youth group at the same site will have different weeks. We build the schedule with our local partner around your ages, gifts, and purpose.

Local partners who stay.

Our partners at home and overseas have hosted short-term teams for years and know their neighborhoods. You join their work rather than starting something that ends when you leave.

Leaders who have done this before.

Every team gets a trained, certified Mission Leader who is with you all week, coordinates the ministry, and leads the nightly debrief and worship.

We treat you as a partner.

You get fundraising and communication tools for your participants, a Mission Coordinator from booking to departure, and straight answers when something changes.

Listening prayer.

Every trip sets aside time to listen to God, not just talk to Him. It is the habit people most often say they brought home.

Built to last.

We choose partners focused on sustainability, so your week adds to lasting change in a community instead of a one-time event.

Questions

What people ask first.

Go longer

Looking for longer? The World Race.

For young adults who want months instead of a week, our World Race programs send squads around the world.
