Today we were suppose to go back and teach at an orphanage that we´ve been visiting in a different city but there was a lot of rain last night and caused a mud slide which was blocking the main road to get to Solola (the town its in) so we couldnt go today. Instead, our leaders gave us 200Q and told us to take a boat to another surrounding city around the lake to do an ATL (Ask The Lord). We´ve done this a lot in Pana, but never anywhere else so we were really excited and nervious at the same time. I was put in a team with Walt, Tashem, and Alaina. We prayed, and felt like God was leading us to a town called San Pedro. After the 45min boat ride there we got out and prayed again for which direction to head…this is how it went all day. First we went into a womans house and just talked with her while she worked on making a huge quilt. Then we saw 3 men on the street that seemed a little tipsy. Tashem shared his testamony with them and after talking with them for awhile about how alcohol will never fulfill them and that only Jesus can fill that void, 2 of them accepted Christ! We then met a street dog, they´re everywhere, we named him Luke and decided we would follow him and wherever he took us we´d pray for people there. We hiked a bit into a neighborhood area and knocked on 3 doors and was invited into all 3 with joy and appreciation that we were there. They were all Christian and were so encouraging to us. They each had specific prayer requests for their family, job, health, ect. One man, Pablo, said that God must have sent us from a far away land to meet him so that we could talk about God together today…so precious! It was a great day!!
