Guatemala is unexplainable. God is moving. People are growing. Lives are being changed. Eyes are being opened. God is showing me that there is no stopping point in my growth. There is always something new to be discovered, and I have to keep seeking. Seeking with my WHOLE heart.
With that being said… God put a trip on my heart. A long, expensive, and last minute trip. It's called the Immersion trip with Adventures in Missions, the organization I am leading a trip in Guatemala with right now. This trip consists of 3 months in 3 different countries. . A total of 9 months of my life devoted to serving people. 9 months of the unexpected. 9 months of radically showing people in dark places God's love and purpose for their lives. I like to think of it as a "pregnancy term" of obedience to the Lord. With that being said… I have 3 WEEKS to raise $9,000. That's NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS IN THREE WEEKS. No money, no go. Call me crazy. Call me a dreamer. Call me 20 years old. But I have to try. I have to step out in faith. If I fall on my face then so be it, but I would rather jump off a cliff and risk the landing than not jump at all.
