It’s coming.

Our Time:
We have been here for almost a week and so far it feels like we've done nothing to make an impact. We've been doing a lot of preparation for our ministry. We have learned a bunch of skits and songs (all in Spanish) it's been fun but not fulfilling. I have a longing to go out on the field and give my time meaning. Our first day of real ministry is Monday, I can't wait for Monday.  

Just a Little Something:
I feel something coming for Guatemala. Something big. I have no clue what it is but it's there. It's like a storm that's been building for a week, I'm just waiting for the downpour. 
ALSO IT IS SO HOT HERE. WOW. 

Growth:
I already feel myself changing, slowly, but changing none the less. I knew coming into this I would change, I just didn't know what that looked like. I still don't, I know it's supposed to happen. My dependence on a positive attitude can only last so long, I am learning this quickly. I am also learning it doesn't have to, my attitude won't sustain me, God will. It's his supernatural joy that I have to cling to. Oh man, just writing what was hard, but living it…. That is going to be the ultimate challenge. It is going to require me to look past the heat, past the language barrier, past my worldly wants. I can do this. I think.
