Adventures Relief – Missions

Bringing Hope and Healing to Communities in Crisis

Fort Myers, FL

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ian in October 2022, Adventures Relief swiftly responded to the call for aid in Harlem Heights.

Over 18 months, we provided refuge for nearly 1300 participants and mobilized over 5000 volunteers.

We served 284 homes with essential post-disaster care and restored 176 homes better than before the storm. Amid the chaos, we became vessels of the love of Jesus, bringing hope and healing to a community in turmoil.

Mayfield, KY

In December 2021, Adventures Relief responded swiftly to aid Mayfield, Kentucky, devastated by a powerful tornado. Our dedicated team embarked on a mission of compassion, offering prayers and assistance to the shattered community. Over two years, 24 teams partnered with a local pastor to rebuild homes for those who lost everything. Together, we rebuilt five homes and refurbished a women’s shelter, witnessing the resilience and faith of a community determined to rise from the ashes.

New Orleans

Hurricane Ida ravaged New Orleans, leaving towns flooded and roads like rivers. Adventures Relief mobilized quickly, partnering with local churches to provide food, water, and supplies. We restored power, cleared debris, and ensured safety. This disaster recalls our response to Hurricane Katrina, when we sent 4,000 volunteers to gut houses as a first step in rebuilding. Our work with Holly Grove ministry partners since 2006 has had a significant impact.

Now, our Holly Grove partners continue reaching hundreds of kids and families. Mission teams can assist with VBS camps, disaster relief projects, homeless ministry, and prayer walks. One unique ministry offers business opportunities for those recovering from substance abuse and prostitution, providing employment and life skills. Join us in New Orleans to help make a lasting impact!

Haiti

In 2010, following Haiti’s earthquake, Adventures Relief responded, recognizing the urgent need for aid in a country long plagued by challenges. Mobilizing resources and expertise, we provided immediate relief alongside long-term rebuilding efforts. Missionaries Miguel and Kristina de Santiago coordinated with NGOs to deliver essential supplies and healthcare to the hardest-hit areas. With your support, we addressed urgent needs while exemplifying the love of Christ in action.
