A Miracle of Healing in Cambodia

Recently, our Cambodia team moved into action to assist a province about an hour and a half away from Siem Reap during a flood that engulfed their market, destroying much of their food supply. This province has a population of 10,000 people, but only two of those people are believers.
As the first Christian organization in the area, they distributed food, in turn catching the province Chief’s attention. He told them about an older woman who couldn’t walk that would need the food taken to her. She hadn’t walked in ten years.
After meeting the woman, the team realized they didn’t want their help to end with food. Concerned about the woman’s health, and with no doctor able to come for an entire month, they decided to pray over her.
After praying, they lifted her up to see if she could walk.
She pushed them away and danced.

One week later, the team went to visit the woman to make sure they weren’t fooled. She was still walking and exercising her legs. The entire village verified the miracle – she hadn’t walked for ten years, and now she could walk again.
When the chief saw this, he said, “You can do whatever you want here.”
Pray for these village leaders and the team in Cambodia as they continue to build meaningful relationships in the villages around Siem Reap.
