Intro

Hi everyone!

So this is my first blog ever and it's going to be pretty random with basic introductions. 

First I'll introduce the team. Grace just graduated hs and is from Bozeman MT. She's doing a gap year and is the daughter of a pastor. She also has a huge family, 6 siblings! Next is Mandy. She's 22 and is recently engaged! She is from Littleton CO and is studying ESL. Then there's Mercediez who is 21. She used to live in CA but now is in Florida. Lastly our amazing leader, Morgan. Who three months ago finished the world race! And if anyone is reading this who doesn't know me my name is Ali. Im from Danville CA and am two years through college studying materials engineering. 

Training camp was great. We had four days to get to know the team, listen to speakers, worship, etc. in Gainesville GA. Friday we got up at 3:30 am to catch a flight to Guatemala. The movie playing was iron man 3 and it was spectacular. It received 9/10 stars on my movie rating scale. Anyway we got to our house in Antigua and it is beautiful. We can see the volcano, have hot showers, have beds, and we all basically started crying. It was so overwhelming and really unbelievable. We have just been exploring the city. It's rainy season and it's perfect weather. 

So there's more to come! And we feel so blessed to be here! The next three months are going to bring great things.
