This week was a beautiful week of worship for me.  One of the ways I most connect with God is through music, and I treasure my time to be able to open up my heart to him this way.  But even though our team started the week with an hour long musical worship session and finished Friday night with a worship night at Transform Asia, worship this week extended so far beyond music.

As Christ followers, we have the opportunity to worship God in everything we do.  Worship is setting ourselves aside and focusing all our faculties on who God is.  Worship is the momentum of seeing God more clearly.  Worship is seeing his presence in every moment, and investing 100% of us in soaking in that precious time.  We can worship God with our thoughts.  We can worship God in our human interactions.  We can worship God by meeting with Him or learning more about His character through Scripture.  And as the natural consequence of worship is joy, this week I have been overflowing with the peace and joy that comes from Jesus!  In this, I am assured of my satisfaction in Him.  I am sure that my relationship with Jesus is really enough for me.  While I love my fiancé to the ends of the earth and back again, he is not essential for my joy and satisfaction in life but a beautiful added blessing from the Lord that makes life even better than perfect satisfaction through Jesus!
