Although short term trips are, in fact, short you’ll find that long
lasting relationships are formed and sometimes, you may even get to see
people you meet again.

“The day we arrived at the church and I came off
the bus there he was, Samuel. Samuel was a boy that I grew so close to
last year. He looked at me and I at him and the tears rolled down our
faces. He had remembered me! We just hugged as I grabbed a translator. I
wanted him to know that I prayed for him and his family every day while
I was at home. It was such a blessing to see him again and he looked so
much older. It was only a year but it seemed like I had not seen him in
