Why Choose AIM For Your Short-term Mission Trip?

We believe that Adventures in Missions offers youth groups and churches unique short term mission trip opportunities in a way that can’t be found anywhere else.

There are many ways our staff is here to serve any need along the
way, including preparing a flexible and custom-made trip, teaching you
more about listening prayer, and giving you plenty to do.

“I have spoken to people who have gone on mission trips and were
disappointed to not have enough to do. In our experience with AIM
everyone gets a chance to contribute all day long. The morning task is
not the same as the afternoon task. Most importantly, AIM focuses on
relational ministry,” said Gayle Reese, whose church has traveled with
AIM for more than 10 years.

Although short term trips are, in fact, short you’ll find that long
lasting relationships are formed and sometimes, you may even get to see
people you meet again.

“The day we arrived at the church and I came off
the bus there he was, Samuel. Samuel was a boy that I grew so close to
last year. He looked at me and I at him and the tears rolled down our
faces. He had remembered me! We just hugged as I grabbed a translator. I
wanted him to know that I prayed for him and his family every day while
I was at home. It was such a blessing to see him again and he looked so
much older. It was only a year but it seemed like I had not seen him in
forever. God gave me a special gift to see a special child again!”
-Toni Frederick, short term mission trip participant.

AIM mission trips can also be tailored specifically to your group
and we’ll provide you with resources for how to best prepare before and
how to debrief after.

This, in addition to the lasting impact
mission trips tend to have on not only the places you visit, but your
church’s outreach, students and ministry is why we believe choosing AIM
can benefit your church.

There are many other reasons to choose AIM, but you don’t have to take our word for it. You can read stories
from our participants from the many short term mission trips we offer,
including those for youth groups, high school students and adults.

It’s not too late to sign up your church or youth group for a summer trip.
