Now is the perfect time to come serve the Ho-Chunk people
The Ho-Chunk people of Wisconsin have been working hard to rejuvenate their culture and language. Since this rejuvenation includes their traditional religious practices, many Ho-Chunk people are closed to the gospel. But recently a respected tribal warrior committed his life to Jesus. He is actively working with other Native Christians to reach their people. This is a strategic time to come minister to the Ho-Chunk people, and God is moving among them.
You are invited to come work alongside them in relational ministry. The tribe's Mind-Body-Spirit Wellness Center located in the middle of a Native community of over 200 Ho-Chunk people is an ideal location for a daily Vacation Bible Schools for the many kids who live in the community.
You will have opportunities to interact with the thousands of college-age students from all over the world who come each summer to work in this popular resort area. They are very open to building friendships and eager to sit and talk with visitors. Your group will have an opportunity to influence future world leaders.
You will also get to love, encourage, and help those who are already following Jesus, including the pastors and leaders of a local church. You will make a difference in the lives of those who will be actively discipling the Ho-Chunk people after you leave.
